Changing PCB software due to political reasons?! Thats a hard core thing to do! Kind of funny! :)
What did you use before, North Korean PCB software?
Have using vast number of PCB/schematic software since back in the days of Sinclair Spectrum and pin
printers/HPGL plotters it's just route and delete, im still using a software on my PC that dates from the late
90i'es yet i have tried numerous new ones and they become cluttered with functions, yes its neat to have
all in one package like Altium but in the end of the day if one are just doing 1-2-4 layers one don't need
anything fancy over advanced.
RS have PCB/schematic package for free, no limits, works alright, exports in several formats, 3D view etc
fast learning curve, somewhat ugly UI but one gets used to it..

But i have to say that i did not experience >much hassle at all, and in fact i feel that many of softwares i'm using now are better then their commercial counterparts.
