[sdiy] PCB/Schematic software

I'm on Mac and uses Osmond  >  http://www.osmondpcb.com.
There's a limited free version and then there's the full version. I use the
full version.
It reads netlists, libraries are easy to convert, it exports drillfiles and
gerbers.

I find it easy to use and very intuitive. Of course there are small issues
here and there as with any sw.

We recently bought a pcb mill at work and the CAM sw reads files from Osmond
without problems.
