Fully agree! Datasheets are essential. And getting them in a minute from the
archives is a revolution!

I also try as often as possible to put an end to the stupid circuit bending
dogma of not bending anything with a mains connection. Only the most
stubborn advocates of non-learning would poke a crocodile clip into the
power supply. Or indeed open up the wall-wart to do something foolish.
