[sdiy] Roland TR-909 PSU and reset circuit, replacement

The transformer in my TR-909's PSU has gone, and I can't seem to find
a suitable replacement (it's chassis-mount, and is the sole physical
support for the PSU PCB), so I'm thinking of replacing it with a SMPS
if I can find a suitable size, maybe something like this one...
http://www.mean-well.com.au/shop/product.php?id_product=74
to give me the required +/- 15 volts and +5 volts.

Questions:

1) Given that the 909 is mainly analogue, would a SMPS introduce more
noise than a linear supply into the voice circuits?

2) The AC connection is two prong, would I need to convert this to
three for a SMPS?

3) The 909 has a little reset circuit on the PSU, which holds the
reset line low until the input of the 5 volt regulator sees 7 volts -
could I safely ditch this if changing to a SMPS ?

Reset circuit details can be viewed here..

4) Do I need an external fuse with these things?

Sorry for the no-doubt-dumb questions, and thanks in advance!
