[sdiy] Interesting new PICs

Hi,

Microchip have just announced a couple of small PICs with new and 
interesting hardware peripherals:

1. A (single) hardware 16-bit Numerically Controlled Oscillator (NCO)

2. What they call a "Configurable Logic Cell" - a very simple 
programmable logic block whose timing is independent from the 
microcontroller, i.e. not quantised to, or limited by the clock frequency.

I guess these are intended for SMPSU or motor control apps, but they 
look ideal for building hybrid analogue/digital oscs, EGs, etc.
