I've often wondered if, on circuits that use a diode as a voltage
controlled resistor, if adding a 2nd diode in series would create
something close to exponential response. I don't even know why this
occurs to me. It's just that in the back (of the front) of my head,
something is saying, "Hey, the math is close..." I think it's from
seeing it done in other circuits. I've even seen three diodes in series
- not counting diode ladder filters...
