My wallet cares, and given that even the highest grade of TL074 can be
obtained in bulk for less than 20 cents per opamp, and the lowest grade
literally for pennies per opamp, I think one would have to have very
compelling reasons to plump for an AD or OPA which costs several times more,
particularly for a production module where profit margins tend to be pretty
thin even in the best of times.
