NEVER    *EVER*      leave an op-amp unconnected.


You might find the unconnected op-amp oscillating luodly at several
MHz, and heating up the silicon.


If you're not using it, tie it off safely, for example o/p to -ve
input, +ve input to: GND if dual rail, mid-rail if single supply.
