I doubt you even need to have a *very* accurate CV resolution.  You're not setting the pitch of the note with it, that's the whole point of the digitally-generated reset clock.  If you set it higher than the reset frequency so you get the classic sync sound, the pitch is unimportant since you're likely to be sweeping it anyway.
