I guess someone's got a use for it, but I fail to see the point of that chip.
32-bit processing is nice, but 8K of RAM and 32K of program memory is hobbling it to such a degree that it's useless. I've got 128K and 16K in the 16-bit dsPIC I'm using now. If it had some stunning peripherals, it might be worth struggling with, but I can't see anything I don't have already. It's got a PMP parallel port, so maybe you're supposed to stick extra RAM on it.
Still, I like the idea of breadboardable 32-bit processors. You can get an idea worked out and working before you commit to a PCB.
