[sdiy] making PCB's with PNP blue

yeah definitely! PNP is excellent but as you say, there are a million and one protips.

when my heating iron got clogged, I didn't realize it and tried to improve my results in a dozen diff ways... getting temp right, pre-heating material (it shrinks a little) ,etc etc. then I realized my iron wasn't flat... a slight layer of grundge on it... so I scraped it flat with a light metal edge boom it works may much better. haven't mastered two-sided yet. dremel tool drill press is quite nice for making the holes. just takes patience which is not short on this list :) and try not to inhale too much bad-for-you material (wetting the surface captures a good amount of dust). There are some Germans out there who make a sport of best PNP blue traces. I recommend black and white laser printer instead of color, just because it'll generally be higher resolution... peel back w/ a credit card.
