[sdiy] Arp / Oberhein keyboard mystery

I have no idea what a 1604 keyboard is. I've never seen one. Is it like a
CV keyboard or a self-contained synth?

In my 3604P serial 1620 keyboard they had a Dynamic Measurements Corporation
148-130 potted module. It basically was a sample and hold module made from
a high input impedance discrete op amp. If the 1604 is earlier, they may
have bought some type of S&H from someone else. Just a wild guess.

Tell me more about a 1604. Any photos?

Dave

Subject: [sdiy] Arp / Oberhein keyboard mystery

I was asked to repair an ARP 1604-P keyboard (not functioning).

When I opened it up, I discovered a piggy back board PCB on the Arp PCB.

The piggy back board is labeled "Oberheim Electronics 1036-A"

Anybody got a clue what this might be?

Thank you for any help.
