What's in an N-channel DAC ? Is it N DACs or 1 DAC and an N-to-1
demultiplexer ? If the VCOs of a polyphonic synth are driven by
different DACs, the conversion errors will sometimes add up.
It's not like the equal temperament scale is too much in tune to
begin with...
