I just posted this on the Buchla forum, but I thought I'd post here in
case anybody wanted some of these for DIY projects. Hopefully it isn't
bad form to post this here.
I recently had a batch of slide pots made for the Easel. These are 50k,
linear taper. They're made at the same factory in China that's making
the ARP replacements, but the ARP ones have a shorter shaft. I paid
tooling costs to have the shafts made to the original length (26mm).
These same sliders were probably also used on other 200 modules.
I have a few hundred spares available to sell. Please email me offlist
for prices. I'm basically just hoping to break even on this deal.
I just installed a full set on my 208 yesterday. They feel great and
don't have any "touchy spots" anymore. I did find a few bad sliders in
the mix that must have slipped by QC though.
