Please obey the description for "START/STOP & Tempo Clock" at page 6, 
which describes a delay of 9ms of the first clock edge after the 
positive edge of the start signal.

Unfortunately Roland missed to make clear that this delay is a 
requirement for a reliably working synchronisation. Most MIDI-Clock to 
DIN-Sync converters I know miss this delay, which in consequence can 
cause ugly "late clocking".
