[sdiy] DIN SYNC output stage

Hi all.
I just finished a hardware MIDI CLOCK to pulse decoder design, and some
of the guys on electro-music have been interested in adding a DIN SYNC
(24PPQN) output to it.
My google fu has failed, but I'd like to be able to draw up and post a
schematic of an output circuit to add on to the +5V CMOS outputs of the
decoder. I'm guessing the +5V pulses are simply buffered, or maybe
not?..... There may also be output impedance issues to get right. I've
found some partial information, like on the Blacet MIDI-SYNC datasheet,
but am unclear as to polarity of the outputs, and whether they are
latched high/low, or are simply low- to high pulses.
Can anyone steer me towards a schematic and info on a typical DIN SYNC
output stage?
Any help appreciated.
cheers,
Dave
