Hi list,
I'm about to start a thru-zero flanger (mono) project using
ready made small delay modules for the flanging section(s).
Because I need to go before and after my original sound (thru-zero)
I need 2 delay sections:
-The first delay section would be a fixed 10msec.
-The second delay section would be a variable one (5...15msec)
Mixing both section will do a real thru-zero flanging effect
like the 70's tape flange effects. The modulation would be
'envelope follower' type like the Eventide Instant flanger.
Here is my question:
Do anybody knows of 'ready available' delay modules
I could buy that could do the 5..15 msec audio delays
with at least 24 bits precision ?
I would need 2 of them.
I thought I could use 2 Behringer DD400 delays and
and dismantle them to use there inner delays (24bits ADC type...) but
I'm sceptical about the audio quality at around $40.00 each..
You guys DSP experts, would it be easy for you to come up
with this type of delay modules using your favorite DSP's ?
Thanks for reading,
J-Pierre
