Yeah, I wish I'd had this thing years ago when, I reverse engineered the
JX10.
I could have hooked it up to the PG800 port, moved each knob, and read off
the communication protocol directly from the SPI trace.
Another really nice feature of the Logicport - you can define a set of pins
as the data bits of a parallel ADC or DAC.
Then the software shows the analogue waveform translated from the data,
rather than just the bits.
That's one area where a larger sample memory would have been good - for
capturing samples straight out of the DAC busses of drum machines etc.
