[sdiy] Soldering Iron Recomendations

I have a hakko 700c soldering / desoldering station.

The current model is crazy money new.  The 700c setup cost me about GBP 100 all in, which included a brand new iron.

I spoke with the UK distributor as to the availibility of spares before purchasing.  If you make sure of spares availibility where 
you are, then i think there is a lot to be said for buying a quality unit 2nd hand.
