No the question was more "DSI storage of sound programs, dspic".
Ok, min specs are 20n years min, 10k writes we can gladly assume
way longer lets say 35 years at 25 deg C however write endurance
i have no idea but that's at least not 100million times.

Why EEPROM? I consider them redundant when we have
1Mb+ Flash in PLCC32 at 5V prog voltage easily.

However i can see a use for a 1Gbyte SD card in SPI mode
instead of PLCC32. Why bother with sys exclusive dumps?
MCHP have a free fat 16 for the dsPIC if one absolutely
needs to transfer progs to PC, whatever.

I newer said anything about EEPROM, however i do agree to use
internal flash as long as there are enough available.

I just wonder what DSI do.
