How do DSI store their sound program and setup combos in their products?
The P08 has only dsPIC per voice, but a flash in a PLCC32 socket
on the main board.
Mopho has a dsPIC and a external flash PLCC32 in a socket.
Evolver has a big fat ADSP and socketed PLCC 32 presumably
containing DSP soft but there are a DIP40 labeled Evolver 3.0
no idea if that's a dsPIC it could be.
Tetra contains 2 PCB's main and voice, presumably main contain
a PLCC32 flash but manual states separate sound storages for each
voice module ie x4 in combo mode.
Can it be that software are stored in internal flash and programs
in external PLCC32? Or the reverse? Why label external PLCC with
revisions labels? Why store programs to internal flash?
