[sdiy] Spice Books

Hi

Can anyone recommend a book/books [dead tree variety, not e-books] on
using Spice (would need to be compatible with whatever free/Open Source
offerings are available for Linux) for someone who has never simulated
anything in his life?

If it has any bearing on the matter, I'm familiar with using Cadsoft
Eagle (planning to migrate to GEDA/PCB though) and am getting
comfortable with Verilog.

I'd be wanting to learn by hand-coding netlists. Not big on schematic
capture unless it's for the purposes of laying out a PCB.

Cheers

M
