[sdiy] 1N4001 equivalent in SOT-23?

They solder fine if you make the pads longer than the recommended footprint. I like to be able to get the tip of the
soldering iron on the foil beneath. The standard footpring requires you to put some solder on the pads, then heat the terminal
(ouch)

Not SOT-23, but I've tended to use this sort of thing:

Hi Tom,
Have you hand-soldered those cases? That's the exact part I originally specced - but I wasn't sure about the bent pads.
