Yep, I still get about 2 "spammers" a day trying to sign up, I take it
as a kin of complement that they feel the site is worth the effort.

However, what you describe is a bug I need to work through.
As an unregistered user you're allowed to browse the site but not post.
As a fully registered user you can post to the forums, upload, add
friends, events, create groups, blogs, etc, etc.
As a registered but not approved user you're not allowed to do anything..

In the meantime, log out, and I'll approve you as soon as I'm able.
