Type in www.synth.net in IE8  and it automatically forwards you to
http://synth.net .. it works just fine ... 

My suggestion would be to use a more professional browser ...

the synth.net address came up with a non-existent address error. the
synth.net/forum address works.
Then you have to register and it cantake 12 hours to get approved so in the
meantime you are not allowed access to any of the forums.....
