The text I got when attempting to access the forums is

"Access denied. You must have special permissions to access this area or 
you are not logged in."

I am logged in, so I obviously need special permissions... with no clue 
about how to get it, account verification status or anything of the sort.

If this is a result of account verification, then the error text should 
provide a hint about this...

Regardless... fix it. More helpful info and fiddling the bits on my 
account is needed for me to play.
