[sdiy] MC6805 ROM readout?

I used a version of this device in one of my product lines way back when.
Motorola supplied a programmer emulator PCB ($500 each at the time) that I
used to program parts. These boards are about a square foot in size, and
specific to certain part numbers. I still have some of these in storage. I
recall that some parts had a code protect fuse, if it is set none of the
regular tools can read the part. One vendor hinted that this was not very
secure but I do not recall the details.

Anyone have experience with reading out the [MASK/OTP] ROM on a 6805? I
don't even know if its possible on this chip. Back in the day I know it was
popular to read out the BASIC ROM in the Intel 8052AH-BASIC and was hoping
maybe someone had done the same with the 6805.
