yeah it is neat.  i checked its spec and it takes about 14us to  
compute a multiply... so it can do about 71K multiplies per second...
which I find impressive and inspiring, it's just a little bit too slow!

Interestingly the 8087 was rated for about 50K FLOPS....   so the  
Micromega chip (which I assume is a rebranded microcontroller)
is a little bit faster than the good old 8087 from 31 years ago.  The  
quest continues!
