Well if your retiring from this out of order discussion i
cant give you any answers. But the loss of money are a
philosophical issue as much as cultural. Money in it self
has no value, it's just a sheet of paper you put a value
into.

It's quite obvious manufacturers has to do money but that
was not the issue. And i think Rainer Buchty gave a decent 
explanation on the MIPS issue.It would be very intressting
to know the real marketing idea around M-chip making all
those variants.
