[sdiy] adaptive filters?

The SSM2044 datasheet suggests that it can be used as an adaptive filter in a BBD delay line application!

Seriously though, you could use any voltage-controlled filter, couldn't you, as long as the parameter you're adapting to can also be voltage controlled?
