Very sad - he still had a lot of circuits left to go!

He once gave me some good advice.. I was having trouble with one of his 
designs, and he replied to the effect that "if you build the circuit EXACTLY 
as I drew it, and use EXACTLY the parts I specified, then it WILL work."
And of course it did..
