[sdiy] Cut-down CEM3310 replacement

Hello all,

I'm repairing a Crumar Trilogy which I bought with a broken String Ensemble 
section. Turns out it's the CEM3310.

In the Trilogy the String Ensemble section only has Attack and Release 
controls; sustain is preset to full and decay shouldn't (?) matter. It 
occurred to me that rather than use up a valuable CEM3310 in this 
application, a simple discrete or OTA based substitute ought to be able to 
do the job, especially as it's not a full ADSR.

Any circuit ideas?
