Howdy,

 Yes, I'd like to know also. After replacing the transformer in my SH-101 power supply, disconnecting pretty much every thing that comes out of the downstream side, the 2 main transistors get hot again. Interesting. I wonder if a 2n2222 is not big enough to handle the position of TR-1? As soon as I can get those 2 trannies working properly, it will be time for some serious troubleshooting. I'm asking, Arre these two transistors some sort of oscillator for the transformer to use for increasing voltage? If i knew the frequncy of this circuit, I think I'd just whip up a Cmos gate osc. and go from there. But it probably won't supply adequate current. any advise?
