I am familiar with the Paia theremin. I had a friend of mine that I used to know show me his theremin that he built after he made his Paia. He had modeled his design off the Paia but left out as many features as possible to decrease interference which worked out well for him. That is one of the things that inspires me to create a controller box with antennas and CV outs so that it can be kept at a distance from all other electronics or interfering devices. Such as the VCO, VCA, and the rest of the synth.
