It should work if you are giving it decent 24ppq pulses, as 96 ticks per
bar is 24ppq.
Have you checked that shuffle is not on ? !
I had problems syncing a TR606 to my Frostwave MIDI-CV many years ago.
I built a DIY Midi to Sync circuit and it worked fine. Perhaps the
pulses from the Frostwave unit were of borderline level and this is
perhaps the problem you have too. Can you check them on a CRO.
