I like to avoid all LEDs in my modular unless they are absolutely essential
to convenient operation of the module, and even then I typically run them
with much higher current limiting resistors than most.  This is because LEDs
are current hogs, and I don't want to have to buy another power supply just
so my modular can look like some nerd's version of a Christmas diorama.
