[sdiy] POLL: Blue LEDs on music hardware?

I've generally changed my LEDs to match a color coding:

Red for warning, most generally used with clipping or over-voltage
Green for general indication, such as signal present, gate, trigger, etc.
Bi-color for signal rate, such as LFO waveform
Blue for MIDI, such as MIDI status for sent or received
Amber for signal levels, such as the output level of my voltage
sources (I find amber is easy to differentiate the various brightness levels)

I do cut the blue LED current way back so the brightness is somewhat
equal. If a red or green LED used a 1K5 resistor, the blue would
most likely use a 4K7 resistor.

I also reduce the backlight level on my LCDs. I don't like anything
too bright.

The most challenging was the T5 slide base lamp on my Moon Modular
569. That thing was like a beacon! I didn't want to modify the
module so I found a 28 volt lamp that is much dimmer and covered it
with a plastic cover.
