Hi!

I also use these for smaller currents and the LM317 with additional 2 resistors to set the output voltage to 3.3V.
If I need higher currents I prefer the L4955V3.3 from ST www.st.com that can deliver 5A.
But it seems that this part is no longer available from ST...
But the datasheet can still be found via different datasheet archives.

Hi Aaron and the Lists!
I use LP2950 (100mA) and MC33269 (800mA) types in 3.3V regulator.
LP2950 is original form NS, second source from ON semi;
http://www.national.com/mpf/LP/LP2950.html
http://www.onsemi.jp/PowerSolutions/product.do?id=LP2950ACZ-3.3G
Packe in TO92 and SMT types.
MC33269 is from ON semi;
http://www.onsemi.jp/PowerSolutions/product.do?id=MC33269T-3.3G
Packed in TO220 available.
