They are not a drop in replacement. The pins of the CTS sliders that ARP and Buchla used are different than any other that I know of. (except the clones coming from China) They also have a taller body and longer shaft than what I have found from ALPS or whatever. My guess (totally uneducated BTW) is that Phil has made a small adapter board on standoffs from the ARP PCB that these sliders fit onto and the power for the LED is wired to that.
