[sdiy] PIC advice needed (OT)

I'm using the 18F23K22 to make a bridge between SPI (slave) and I2C (slave). This one has two MSSP units for me to play with.

I'm making a programming header and I have connections to VPP/MCLR (1), PGD (4), PGC (5), and GND (3). I see some designs that also have a "PGM" pin (6)
on the header as well, but the device does not have a PGM pin...

Thanks for all the help so far. Marc's schematic was a big help !

H^) harry

If you've got an ICD2 already then the only other thing you really need
is Microchip's free MPLAB IDE - download it direct from them here:

http://www.microchip.com/stellent/idcplg?IdcService=SS_GET_PAGE&nodeId=1406&dDocName=en019469&part=SW007002

Lots of documentation, support forums, etc at that site as well...
