Hey again,

One fairly sensible question and one obscure one...

On narrower Eurorack panels - let's say 8HP or less, most manufacturers seem to put one mounting hole at top and bottom (rather than two - which is fair enough) - but they're generally mounted to one side of the panel rather than in the middle. Even on 4HP modules this seems to be the standard. Is there a reason for this (i.e. why not centre mount the holes)?

...and secondly - if anyone has any god tips on getting the best out of Schaeffer's 'Front Panel Designer' - I'd be happy to hear it. I'm planning to export a .dxf and hand that off to a local manufacturer - but I'd like to get a quote from Scheaffer anyway FWIW.
