[sdiy] OT Roland W-30 displays

I picked up a W-30 at the weekend, but its display was intermittently 
scrambled and got worse and worse as time went on.  It appears to have 
been replaced with a different display, with some fairly rough 
soldering.  I suspect something on the display PCB is knackered.

Can I just replace it with any 240x64 graphical LCD that uses the same 
controller, or is there something "magic" about it?
