And are switching supplies really the evil they are made out to be?
Especially those switching in the MHz range.
Having worked only with digital stuff for a long time, it's a bit of a
culture shock going back to "legacy" linear supplies - and I've wondered
if [and why] it is really necessary. Granted, I would *not* want to put
something switching at only a couple of octaves above audio in an audio
application, but modern switchers?
