Guess RS would have to come up with something now that their competitor 
Element14 (formerly Farnell) has acquired Cadsoft/Eagle.

Out of the question for me, unfortunately, as (unlike Eagle) it's not 
multi-platform.  Eagle does what I want it to BUT my license is a 
not-for-profit only. And the boards sizes are "all you can fit on a 
playing card." So any future move on my part will be to GEDA/PCB.

Biggest PITA for me won't so much be the learning curve of new software 
as re-creating all my libraries of obscure components - which took me 
AGES. (I've always struggled with creating packages - technical drawing 
is not my forte.)
