Funny you should say that - just been skip-reading the IC OPAmp 
Cookbook, made me wonder whether all the cycle-hungry math shouldn't be 
thrown out to a little analogue computer.

Although, thanks to a suggestion from Veronica, I'm now forging ahead 
with the idea of multiple lookups for different exponential curves. My 
calculations are then reduced the setup for A,H,D,R timers and the S level.
