[sdiy] Reconstruction Filters

Hi Folks

As I work through the design of my wavetable oscillator (made some 
changes, more of that later,) I've hit the reconstruction filter stage.

I was wondering if this could be an LPF with say 4-6 switched cut-off 
frequencies (just over 2x top frequency of the uppermost note in the 
range) controlled by analogue switches, rather than using a VCF and 
having a DAC output a control voltage per note.

Is this a practical solution?
