Well spotted. That's better than Vdd+0.7, but still not that great. Pity. Would have been nice to be able to pull it up to +15V.
It has the little get-out-clause star by it though: "These parameters are characterized but not tested". Which probably means they've no idea either. Maybe it blows up at 8.5V. Maybe it blows up at 6.5V. Maybe it's fine with +15V. Maybe...poof!
