Anyone played with these recently? The built-in 12-bit DACs are attractive. (I recall the XMEGA line coming up several times on the list).

They seem pretty cool:

I've seen these going for:

ATxmega16A4 $4.16
ATxmega32A4 $5.04
ATxmega64A4 $5.38

Available in TQFP 44 (not DIP or PLCC, alas)

The price seems really nice, considering the ATmega328 used in the Arduino is around $4.30.

I've found three folks making dev-board-like things (all based on the ATxmega32A4, I think):

Xprotolab

omxa4 Integrated Microcontroller
http://oakmicros.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=26&products_id=62

Xmega EVAL-04
http://www.bostonandroid.com/EVAL-04.html

Anyone play with any of the above, or know of any others?
