Nice. I like these a lot. They're nice and robust, inexpensive, and
have a reasonable density (I'm looking for about 30 connections and
would like to stick with 2.54 or 1.27MM pitch). I love the DIN
connectors, and have used them with industrial equipment, but I also
think they're overkill for my application. The price at about $4 per
pair is a bit of a buzzkill too. Using the PCI edge connectors means
that I'll have to have the boards routed and use plated fingers on the
edge, but I think this will work out nicely in the long run. This same
setup seems to be working just fine for the zillions of PCs out there.
