Hi David,
Thanks for the info. This seems really promising. The filter still has amazing abilities with a relatively low parts count (and cheap). Have you also tried using it as an all pass filter or with multiple VCO's separately into the different inputs?
It seems the Synthacon VCF clone is moving back to it's original Synthasystem design then, since several people have been adding diodes or modifying the output stage. See for instance the latest CGS revision (http://www.cgs.synth.net/modules/cgs35_syntha_vcf.html) or the Yusynth version of it (http://yusynth.net/Modular/EN/STEINERVCF/index.html).
